The pay for this position is set at $18.00/hr.Responsibilities:
We are looking for an enthusiastic Data Entry Tech to join our Flagstaff laboratory. This position is responsible for typing all donor demographics presented on Chain of Custody (COC) forms for toxicological specimens processed throughout our laboratory. This person works with our team utilizing proprietary software to enter data for upwards of 3,000 chain of custody forms per day. Verifies existing information is correct and missing information is added as needed. Detects and identifies deficiencies in standard operating procedures for handling of COC forms.
The pay for this position is set at $18.00/hr.
Type data into data entry software- Identify deficiencies within data
- Identify deficiencies in accessioning process
- Periodically enter laboratory to retrieve and correct poorly scanned images
- Bring unprecedented occurrences to management
- All other duties as assigned
HS diploma or GED is required- Prior healthcare experience is helpful, but not required
- Data entry skills via a keyboard (alpha and numeric) required
- Strong eye-hand coordination
- Able to rapidly discern client mistakes and assign proper deficiency codes
- Knowledge of lab operations is helpful, but not required
- Excellent attention to detail
- 40+ WPM typing speed preferred
- Strong short-term memory
- Very strong critical thinking skills to decipher handwriting
