Key Responsibilities
- Entering accounting data from source documents, working to a schedule.
- Compiling, verifying accuracy and sorting information to prepare for month end reporting and analysis.
- Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors, correcting and incompatibilities and checking output.
- Researching and obtaining further information for incomplete documents.
- Responding to queries for information and support with some office admin duties.
- Following data integrity, security and confidentiality policies
- Generating reports, storing completed work in designated locations and performing backup operations.
- Collaborative working within the team and also relevant departments throughout the organisation.
- Being able to meet timescales within the project plan.

- Being able to identify errors and suggested training required.
Level of Experience
- Demonstrable understanding of Microsoft Office including Excel and Word and Microsoft Dynamics Navision or similar accounting package, with a high level of accuracy and good attention to detail.
- Experience with data entry work, as a Data Entry Operator or Office Clerk.
- Familiarity with administrative duties.
Specific qualifications and training:
- 4 GCSE’s at grade C+ (or equivalent)
- ‘Entitled’ to work in Jersey.
- Able to provide examples of experience in a similar role.
