Location: Council House / Derby Adult Learning Service
To accurately enter data onto the management information systems (MIS) relating to various funding contracts, working to set deadlines for completing data returns.
To support the MI Manager to prepare reports, including funding reports, for analysis and performance monitoring
To manage tasks and priorities in the MIS associated with curriculum, including managing timetable and register data
Your main responsibilities will include:
a. Accurately input data for Derby Adult Learning funded activity into the data management system, meeting funding and compliance regulations
b. Ensure familiarity with the management information system (MIS), it’s set up and reporting functions
c. Maintain a sound knowledge of the various funding methodologies for the Derby Adult Learning contracts
d. Prepare reports and analysis of data as required by the senior management team and funding bodies
e. Complete regular data checks to ensure accuracy of data and completeness of records
f. When required support frontline staff with administration and clerical duties
g. Work with the management team to prepare and manage timetables, registers and courses on the MIS following set processes and procedures
h. Process learner enrolments, raising and resolving queries to ensure compliance with the funding methodologies
i. Maintain filing and archive systems in line with Derby Adult Learning procedures
j. When required support the exams team with processing exam results
