What You'll Bring:
We’re looking for an Enthusiastic Data Engineer Graduate to join our growing Data Engineering and Analytics Practice.
Our ideal hire will have the technical expertise you’d expect, combined with curiosity and creativity. You’ll wear many hats in this role, but much of your focus will be building out our processes on our new technology stack we are investing in. Beyond technical prowess, you’ll need the soft skills it takes to communicate data processes in a way that’s easy to understand. We’re looking for someone willing to jump right in to help us build and maintain data assets for use by the Data Science and Analytical team.
Key Responsibilities:
Building Data pipelines which integrates data from various sources.
Analyzing Data and create insights for various use cases.
Work with data scientists and operations to build and improve data loading and transformations.
Streamline our data science workflows by improving processes and integrating automated quality control.
Follow existing processes and troubleshoot technical issues.
Skills & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in computing, information technology, science, engineering or equivalent.
Knowledge/Experience of SQL.
Exposure to scripting and/or programming languages e.g., in PowerShell, Bash, R, Python etc.
Communication skills, especially explaining processes to technical operators.
Comfortable working in a dynamic, research-oriented team with concurrent projects
Problem solving skills with a good eye for detail.
