ROLE
Engineer is our entry level role and offers a variety of exposure depending on the project but will primarily focus on the delivery of enterprise-level applications in the Business Intelligence and Data Analytics arena.
This is a client-facing position, so you will be comfortable speaking with clients and occasional travel.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Working on projects that utilise products within the Microsoft Azure and SQL Data analytics stack
- Satisfying the expectations and requirements of customers, both internal and external
- Supporting others in their development
- Contributing to the Adatis and external community
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- Outstanding interpersonal skills
- Ability and attitude towards investigating and sharing new technologies
- Ability to guide, direct or influence people
- Ability to identify opportunities and issues
- Willingness to learn based on feedback
- Able to help others develop
- Strong written and spoken English
- Ideally, degree educated - computer science, data analysis etc.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
You will have knowledge/exposure to one of the following languages:
- SQL
- Python
You will have knowledge/exposure to some of the following technologies:
- Azure SQL Database
- Azure Data Factory
- Power BI
- Azure Synapse Analytics
- Azure Data Lake Storage
- Azure Databricks
It is desirable for you to have passed one or both of the following exams:
- DP-900 Microsoft Azure Data Fundamentals Exam
- AZ-900 Microsoft Azure Fundamentals Exam
You will have knowledge of the following theories:
- Data Warehouse Theory
- Multi-Dimensional Modelling Theory
- Data Architecture Theory
