Job description

Seamless Migration is seeking a career and customer-oriented Data Engineer to join our team to support existing and prospective clients.

Overview

• Analyze and study complex system requirements.
• Design software tools and subsystems to support software reuse and domain analyses and manages their implementation.
• Manage software development and support using formal specifications, data flow diagrams, other accepted design techniques and Computer Aided Software Engineering (CASE) tools. Estimate software development costs and schedule.
• Review existing programs and assist in making refinements, reducing operating time, and improving current techniques.
• Supervise software configuration management.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in system engineering principles and methodologies.
• Experience with database management systems and data modeling.
• Knowledge of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and data integration.
• Familiarity with data quality and data governance best practices.
• Integration experience (API, REST, etc.)

Desired Skills

• Experience with the ServiceNow Platform
• Proficiency in SQL and other database query languages.
• Enterprise Architecture experience
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools.
• Knowledge of data migration strategies and techniques.
• Familiarity with data warehousing and data analytics concepts.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
