This is an exciting time to join the IT team at Old Mill who are truly the backbone of all the exciting and innovative change happening at Old Mill. As part of this, we are looking for someone who can join us to develop our in-house warehousing and reporting provision, supporting Old Mill’s work with a wide range of clients.

Responsibilities:
- Create high-performance algorithms to acquire, manage, transform, and aggregate data.
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines for efficient data ingestion and processing.
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes to support data pipeline automation.
- Ensure data quality and accuracy by monitoring and analysing performance metrics.
- Implement and maintain scalable and reliable data storage solutions.
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate data from multiple sources.
Requirements
- Proven experience with relational and non-relational databases.
- Experience with ETL/ELT processes and workflow automation, using Microsoft Azure services.
- Experience with Python or other object-oriented programming languages.
- Knowledge of Big Data technologies, including Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of data science and machine learning algorithms.
- Experience with version control systems such as DevOps/Git.
- Experience with SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) or Azure Analysis Services.
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
- Proven experience of team leadership.
