As part of Elections Canada's Voter Registration Services, you will be part of a small, exciting and innovative team. The Registration Data Officer position involves both technical and analytical aspects. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to be trained and develop their knowledge of programming and the use of various software programs related to analysis, geographic information systems and updating information from large enterprise databases.
Elections Canada offers a hybrid work model which permits telework in most situations. However, employees are expected to work onsite at least 2 days per week (or a minimum of 40% of their working schedule). This includes one fixed day onsite for all employees of the same team and one flexible day (i.e. not fixed) at an onsite location. Work arrangements outside of this model will be considered on an exceptional basis only.
Intent of the process
The immediate intention of this process is to staff 1-5 specified period positions (long term) within the Voter Registration Services (VRS) division or other divisions within Elections Canada.
A pool of fully or partially qualified candidates may be established to staff positions at the same group and level or equivalent within Elections Canada very varying tenures (such as, specified period, indeterminate, acting) and various bilingual linguistic profiles: English or French Essential, bilingual imperative (BBB/BBB, CBC/CBC or CCC/CCC) and various security clearance levels.

Diploma from a post-secondary institution or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
Degree equivalency
EXPERIENCE
Professional experience correcting personal and address information included in a corporative data base.
Experience in compiling and analyzing data with the objective of producing reports and statistics.
