You as a Data Engineer (Insight and Analytics) will:

• Be a technical lead in the development of high-volume platforms & Data pipelines
• Work with relevant stakeholders to identify sources of data and map out processes/data flow while researching opportunities for data acquisition and innovative new uses for existing data.
• Design, construct, install, test, and maintain highly scalable data management systems while integrating new data management technologies into existing structures.
• Develop ETL processes to move internal and external data into EllisDon's external cloud-based data lake: Develop separate ETL processes to move data from data lake to data warehouse(s).
• Provide input and feedback to support continuous improvement in team processes

• Providing thought leadership for all data solutions, including designing data solutions that meet and exceed customer expectations.

• Continually improve our data pipelines and find innovative ways to maximize automation while recommending ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality.

Is this the right role for you?

• Have knowledge and understanding of Programming Languages: Python and/or Java, SQL, ETL methodologies and toolsets, AWS/Google ecosystem, Database design, MS SQL, MySQL and/or Redshift/Big Query and NoSQL
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and collaborative environment
