Front Office Data Developer – MSSQL, ETL, C#, Python, Pricing, Risk, Quant Analytics, Hedge Fund

A Data Developer highly skilled in SQL database and ETL engineering is sought after by a global Hedge Fund to join their Front Office Data Team who build specialised tools for their Quants and Portfolio Managers covering aspects such as Pricing, Risk and Data Analytics.

Joining an established and mature team of 5, you will work directly alongside the trading desks, helping to both enhance their existing tools and build greenfield solutions to provide a first-in-class offering as the firms data requirements continue to grow. Beyond core Database and ETL engineering, you will also work with the core analytics and APIs used by the desks and so exposure to backend OOP development is very beneficial.

To be successful, you will demonstrate,

• A background in Database and ETL engineering within a Front Office environment (roughly 5 years)
• Strong hands-on skills with SQL Server
• Good experience in any of the core OOP languages primarily (C#, Java or C++)
• Previous experience mentoring and supporting junior engineers
• An ability to confidently engage and communicate with Front Office users.
