- Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and social skills - Lead by example to empower and challenge the team to deliver their best.
- Multiple years of Data Engineering management experience leading and supporting the development and maintenance of applications, tools and processes.
- Experiencing architecting, building and maintaining complex, multi-component big data systems.
- Shown ability to work under pressure while maintaining a high level of quality and integrity.

- Expert level experience with Data Engineering tools and frameworks, processes, goals and methodologies.
- Expert level experience with at least two of the following languages and related development tools: (Python, Ruby, Java, Scala, Swift, Objective C).
- Experience with one or more of the following platforms: HDFS, Yarn, Spark, Impala, Kafka, HBase, MapReduce, Kubernetes, Object Store, Flink.
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $183,400 and $316,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
