Job description
As a Data Developer, you will be making use of the increasing amounts of data available to our business to deliver a robust data foundation which underpins our MI reporting, analytics, and pricing capabilities. You will also be required to support the production of data extracts and some business reports, as well as the delivery of internal and external data feeds.
How will you do this?
Reporting to the Head of MI and working for the Atlanta Partnerships business area, you will work with colleagues from across the business to ensure we make the right decisions at the right times. Data is used widely across the business, so you will come into regular contact with many internal and external stakeholders.
You will ensure that the right people have access to the right data at the right time by designing solutions which enables us to incorporate new data sources into our data environment whilst developing and resolving issues with any part of the ETL process. You will also have the necessary reporting skills to support the wider MI team with the delivery of Management Information as required.
You’ll work on multiple priorities within a fast paced, dynamic environment, and will need to be able to manage the expectations of stakeholders alongside prioritising your workload. You will play your part to meet the broader needs of the business and deliver a first-class MI experience for our stakeholders.

About you
You’re curious, analytical, and logical by nature with a keen eye for detail. You are highly proficient with the Microsoft Business Intelligence stack (SSRS, SSIS, Power BI, Mobile Reporting, Excel). You have proven experience of SQL, Data Warehousing, and ETL feeds and have data analysis experience. Prior experience of developing paginated reports, dashboards, and ad hoc data extracts is desired, whilst experience of working in a regulated financial services environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
We’re also interested in your softer skills - your ability to coach and develop other analysts, work with challenging stakeholders along with the ability to solve complex problems and communicate solutions in a simple, clear, and concise way.
