Hours: 30 hours a week

The Role
Derby Museums is looking for a maternity cover for our Data Collection and Research Coordinator. Working as part of the development team, you will lead on data collection, analysis and reporting to support business planning and help evidence the impact of our work
A key part of the role will be to support Derby Museums in streamlining our data collection, reporting and evaluation processes and you will continue a review of potential options to move us forward in this area. As an ACE funded NPO, you will also support the organisation in using and understanding Illuminate the new Audience Data Platform commissioned by Arts Council England.
Alongside all of this, you will have specific responsibility for leading on the use of our current CRM system Subscriber, financial monitoring and reporting of specific grant funded projects including reporting on our LGF targets, our 23-26 UKCCF Transforming Leadership programme and for ensuring audience data is gathered and reported on across our sites.
Role Purpose:
  • To lead on the planning and implementation of quantitative and qualitative data collection, analysis and reporting at Derby Museums to:
  • Support organisational learning and business planning.
  • Evidence the impact of our work and make the case to funders and other key stakeholders for future investment our museum and charitable activities.
  • To lead on the effective administration and implementation of Derby Museums CRM system.
Lead on supporting the finance and performance monitoring on specific grant funded projects within Derby Museums.
The Person
You will be experienced in working with a wide range of people, highly organised with high levels of enthusiasm and commitment. You will be able to communicate confidently with stakeholders and able to translate business needs into data solutions. Experience of working in a similar role either at another museum, visitor attraction or altogether different kind of organisation would be advantageous. You will be a team player who can respond to challenges whilst working efficiently to tight deadlines.
