Your Opportunity

On the Data and analytics Apprenticeship programme you will learn the fundamental skills across data and analytics to build a future career across the discipline. You will build knowledge across several technologies in Business Intelligence, Data Engineering and Cloud computing disciplines.

You will work alongside some of the best and most experienced data professionals the industry has to offer across our Chief Data Office. Working on innovative projects for our UK business, you will have the ability to learn and experience the full data and digital journey from acquisition to data led decision making.

You will be at the forefront of change to future-proof our business for our customers and our people – Are you up for the challenge? We put the customer at the heart of everything that we do, and we need like-minded people to join us on our journey.

The length of your apprenticeship will vary dependant on course provider and scheme. Rest assured; we will support your studies alongside your permanent role.

What can I look forward to?

Being a Data and Analytics Apprentice, no two days will be the same. You will have the opportunity to use data and the latest technology to solve business challenges and create innovative solutions to drive new opportunities for our business. To achieve this, you will be working closely with stakeholders at all levels from across our business, to deliver value for them and our customers.

There will be a combination of in house and external training, all tailored to your needs. You will learn from extremely talented and knowledgeable colleagues from across the Chief Data Office, who will support you in your apprenticeship journey. .

What you’ll need

  • A minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C/4 including Maths and English
  • A professional attitude with a positive ‘can do’ approach to your work
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to build and develop strong relationships
  • Keen interest in data and digital technologies
  • Open to learning new skills through ‘hands on’ experience and classroom learning
