Key stakeholders for our work include MPC, FPC and PRA Boards and our data are used in the Inflation Report, Financial Stability Report, Credit Conditions Review, Stress Test Results, FPC Core Indicators and Quarterly Bulletin. Decisions made in these Boards and from these reports have national economic significance.

Job Description
This is a really exciting opportunity to be part of a high-profile team at the heart of transforming how that Bank uses its Data and Analytics! The team has visibility across all areas and levels of seniority in the Bank and this is an excellent role for building a strong network of contacts and raising your profile.
You will use your skills, knowledge and expertise to drive forward initiatives that are key to helping colleagues build and enhance their skills to make the most of the Bank’s Data and Analytics. It is a very varied role with plenty of opportunities to shape, lead and deliver initiatives.
There are three main responsibilities within this role:
- Promote and ensure the effectiveness of the Bankwide Data Community by delivering a programme of activities to maintain member engagement as well as increase membership. This involves working with minimal direction to plan and deliver activities as well as working with business areas to understand how they can best benefit from and contribute to the Community. In the coming year, we want to do more through the Community to help colleagues further understand D&A skills and careers in the Bank. There will be opportunity to input to this by suggesting and planning initiatives.
- Lead and ensure delivery of initiatives in order for the Bankwide training service for Data Science and Analysis tools to run in an efficient, effective, transparent and well monitored way. Suggest and implement initiatives which contribute to the continued improvement and enhancement of the service. Oversee the administration and logistic tasks carried out by the Learning Administrator and team Co-Ordinator.

This would include providing support to ensure line reports have clear objectives and understand how to meet and exceed them, consider and support their career and personal development (including informal coaching and mentoring) and foster an environment where the line report feels motivated and empowered to contribute to the team.
The job holder is also required to deputise for the Team Manager when required.
