The Data and Administration Officer is a pivotal role, and you will work with the South East regional service team to provide a wide range of administration and data responsibilities to support the delivery and monitoring of the service, alongside general administrative duties for the manager and team.
As the successful candidate you’ll also have responsibility for data and information tasks for the service, to support effective data inputting, quality, monitoring and reporting.
The role will occasionally also require data and administration cover to other services in the regional service team.
GamCare’s standard working pattern is Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, however we operate under a flexible working policy so working hours are open to negotiation as Adult Services run from 9am to 8pm Monday to Thursdays and 9am to 5pm on Fridays.
For this job, you will need to have a confidential space within your home to work from, and a stable internet connection.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and deliver effective administration systems and data processes to support service safety and delivery.
- Provide administrative support to the Service Manager and the regional service demonstrating a high level of confidentiality.
- Monitor client movement on systems in order to ensure accurate and compliant recording by keeping up to date with GDPR compliance
- Provide direct support to staff for effective data inputting, quality and reporting, and act as the first point of contact for staff in their data management.
- Monitor data and provide information and reports detailing insights into service delivery and performance across the service, including the tracking of data that relates to service key performance indicators.
- Undertake the role of super user for service staff for the case management system, training on, advising on and supporting its effective use and recommending changes as needed.
As the successful candidate you will be required to proactively to complete tasks and projects, gathering information, responding to enquires and work with internal and external stakeholders. You will have prior experience in a data and administration role and proven ability in monitoring data and performance.
With demonstrable experience of managing multiple stakeholders in a dynamic organisation you will have honed your skills in operational, data and administration support which will have given you the tools to update spreadsheets, populate reports, case management systems and databases along with supporting the creation of process maps and guidance documents.

Package DescriptionData and Administration Officer (South East)
Full time – 35hrs per week
Salary: £22,726 UK, £24,726 London and surrounding counties
Location: Working from home, with occasional travel to meetings / events
