Job Description: Context & Objectives Over the past three years SCOR have been engaged in a programme of projects (hELIOS) to define, create and deploy a new end-to-end reinsurance administration platform. The new system complies with the latest data protection requirements and facilitates the administration of Client seriatim data for Technical Accounting, Actuarial and Financial reporting purposes. This project supports the ambition of the Life Division in replacing multiple legacy tools, harmonizing business processes and focusing resources on more value-add tasks. For the purposes of this role, the key objectives are to: Support the onboarding of new treaties onto the system Support the business with the use of the system Improve efficiency and processes relating to treaty onboarding and use of the system hELIOS Business Competency Centre (hBCC) The hBCC function is designed to support the delivery of the global business solution and smooth the transition of the local Technical Accounting teams to the new way of working. Activities incorporated in the hBCC are as follows: Support and Business advice Plan and implement the onboarding of new treaties to the hELIOS platform i.e. Treaty Management (Reinsurance plan definition) and Data engineering (data transformation packages implementation). * Foster best practice use of the hELIOS platform; define and maintain global process and procedures documentation and provide training to support the business. Provide efficient and flexible support to internal and external customers on the transition to and in Business as Usual (BAU) Provide expertise and capabilities in terms of Business intelligence and reporting. Governance and controls Promote and support alignment on hELIOS Operational Processes & Roles. Ensure the consistency of the hELIOS platform by identifying and prioritizing the enhancements needed. Contribute to guarantee the good integration of the hELIOS platform within SCOR process/application landscape. hELIOS Global Roll Out Support Support the successful planning and deployment of the hELIOS platform to new locations.
