What is the opportunity?
ESG Data specialist to work within the Data Management Office, working very closely with the Global CGRI team. Role will include supporting investment professionals and regulatory reporting teams with their ESG data needs.
What will you do?
- Collaborating and supporting ESG SME’s to identify, collect, and analyse data from various sources.
- Address data inconsistencies, gaps, and errors using technology such as Python in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain and document data quality processes and protocols.
- Integrate ESG data into existing investment processes and support the development of new processes.
- Provide data to regulators, understanding and analysing the associated regulations through a data lens.
- Be the point person for ESG data related queries and troubleshooting, performing root cause-analysis.
- Working closely with the ESG team to understand business requirements and help identify, implement and maintain data solutions with IT developers.
- Collaborate with ESG teams to identify potential investment opportunities based on ESG data.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good understanding on Technology and how it can help solve problems.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn as part of a team.
- Ability to write SQL queries and performing data analysis with Python.
- Extensive experience creating visualisation using various tools such as Tableau
- Expert at pulling, cleaning and manipulating large sets of data into insights.
- A strong interest in ESG matched with an eagerness to learn.
Nice-to-have
- ESG experience
- Completed or studying CFA
- Online Data Science courses, Udemy etc.
