Job description
An exciting opportunity has become available to work as a Data Analyst within the Corporate Nursing Team on a 12 month fixed term contract.
The Corporate Nursing Data Analyst will be required to work with a variety of data sets this to create reports ensuring that data is transparent and accessible.
Applicants must have experience in working with complex data sets with excellent Microsoft Excel skills and a keen attention to accuracy.
Core tasks will include data extraction from patient information systems, data cleansing, completion of national data submissions and data presentation.
The Corporate Nursing Team's portfolio is very diverse including; Nurse Quality Indicators, Accreditation, Safeguarding, Patient Experience, Bereavement, Infection Prevention and Control and Chaplaincy.
This role will play a pivotal part in providing data to the organisation to better inform care delivery. The main area of focus will be in relation to Nursing quality indicates including patient experience measures. Whilst based within the corporate nursing team the role will involve liaising with and providing key data to Divisions to promote quality improvement and service monitoring.
