This is a grant-funded position scheduled to end no later than June 30, 2026. This appointment is contingent upon the continued availability of grant funds and may be terminated at any time without cause or prior written notice. There is no expectation of continued employment beyond the expiration date of the grant. This appointment is made subject to the laws of the State of Tennessee and the policies and requirements of the University of Memphis.

No Positions Supervised Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesSupport community and University projects by providing social science research and evaluation support for partners of the Center for Community Research and Evaluation. Work with high levels of autonomy to conduct program evaluations of partner-led implementation projects in a variety of subject matter areas, such as education, public health, workforce development, public policy, demography, and data science. Prepare technical reporting incorporating statistical analysis, prepare demographic research/needs assessments, write evaluation plans for grant proposals, and develop high-quality survey tools. Exercise technical discretion in the design, execution, and interpretation of evaluation reporting across the spectrum of quantitative and qualitative research. Use statistical software to prepare data for analysis, analyze data, and report on data including charts, tables, and other visualizations. May participate in external seminars and academic conferences.
