Job description
We're seeking an enthusiastic candidate to take on a significant Business Intelligence role, working within our council's corporate implementation of Microsoft Power BI, as well as supporting other BI solutions used within the council.
This position would particularly suit someone starting their IT career, with a keen interest in IT and a willingness to learn. You'll be fully supported in developing your technical BI and warehousing skills through mentoring and training. Liaising with a variety of departments creating and providing BI reports as well as developing their usage, giving you a variety of challenges within this position.
We're looking for someone customer-focused with experience in helping others with IT and data analysis (not necessarily in a work environment). You should have experience using at least one BI tool (not necessarily in a production/live environment) and adept at using Microsoft 365 related apps. You'll be fully or partly qualified to degree level in an IT or Business Analysis related field (or have equivalent practical experience). Being capable of handling conflicting priorities, working to tight deadlines, and managing a range of activities will give you a solid foundation to succeed with us.

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Salary: £24,496.00-£26,845.00 per year
