The Trauma Audit & Research Network (TARN) is the National Clinical Audit for Trauma Care and is responsible for monitoring the performance of National Trauma systems across England, Wales & Ireland and reports routinely to all NHS hospitals on the standards of care and outcomes of injured patients. TARN holds the largest European Trauma Registry and is amongst some of the largest global trauma registries.
There is an exciting opportunity for a committed individual to take the role as Data Analyst at The Trauma Audit & Research Network.
As part of a small team of Analysts, you will play a key technical role at TARN in producing and delivering analysis and reports.
You will have experience of interrogating an RDBMS (preferably Microsoft SQL Server) for the purpose of data analysis, running specific queries for scheduled and ad hoc analyses using SQL, PowerBI and other software packages as appropriate.
The post will incorporate hybrid working and will therefore involve working both in the TARN office (based at Salford Royal Hospital which is part of the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust) and working from home.
This is a full-time post: 35 hours per week.
