Job description
The Diocese of Truro is currently undertaking a programme of grassroot changes aimed at positioning the Church in Cornwall to tackle the biggest spiritual and societal needs of Cornwall in the 21st Century, this work has been undertaken by the local church, through engagement with a deanery planning and implementation process.
The Data Analyst will provide the deaneries and the diocese with in-depth data that will: improve the use of resources; provide context; and give direction for the work being undertaken. The data provided will evidence the need for work in certain locations; demonstrate the value in various projects; give vital information for funding applications; and give reassurance, that in a period of change, the work being done is having the desired impact.
You will have significant experience, and ideally a qualification, in managing data – collating, analysing and presenting it. High level IT skills are essential as you will be using a range of software. Equally, being able to communicate with clarity and creativity to reach a range of audiences is vital. We are looking for someone with an inquiring mind and an interest in data and the stories it tells.
