Responsibilities?
- Identify opportunities in the business for improved solution performance and BI
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to develop insights into data
- Create, test and support User Acceptance Testing of BI dashboards and reports
- Provide seasonal forecasts to support local control tower operations and future development
- Report on control tower performance and support continuous improvement activities
- Recognise key trends, align to key events, provide insights and suggested actions
- Performing scenario modelling to enable management to understand the impact of different business decisions
- Review volumes and provide invaluable support during peak business periods to understand the impact on control tower operations, throughput, and capacity.
- Understand the drivers behind performance changes, and how this impacts the service we offer.
- Support the control tower teams to understand data provided and the impact this has on overall performance
- Playing a part in ensuring that the right stock is delivered to the correct warehouse and pro-actively monitoring on an on-going basis
- Support the operation and senior management with ad-hoc requests that support business growth.
What we are looking for:
A broad experience in business intelligence, visual analytics or data science and application development. You are a confident user of front-end tools (e.g. Power BI) and have experience in working with SQL and power apps.
- Experience with Power BI (will consider others BI tools)
- Advanced MS Office skills, in particular Excel
- Commercially aware and analytical
- Ability to present data/ information clearly and accurately
- Good presentation skills, displaying clarity and confidence
- The ability to maintain a structured workload amidst changing deadlines and multiple priorities
- Ability to draw simple statements from large amounts of data
- Demonstrate proactive attitude, with both the ability and confidence to work independently, whilst knowing when to escalate
Job Type: Full-time

- 8 hour shift
