ROLE: Data Analyst (Mid to Senior level)

The role:
As a Data Analyst you will be responsible for developing MI / BI reports, dashboards, analytics, and developing core reporting within the business. You will develop and publish reports (MI & BI). You will analyse data trends, advise stakeholders on ways to improve and be more efficient. You will identify opportunities for continuous improvement in the maintenance of MI reporting. You will support root cause investigation of problems via data collection and analysis. You will need to have a strong analytics mind-set with a track record of interpreting and articulating data. You will be able to identify trends and explain why these trends are occurring.
About you:
· Previous experience in a Data Analyst role (2-3 years preferable)
· You must have experience in SQL
· Credit risk experience is a strong desirable
· AWS/ Quicksite (nice to have)
· Ideally you will experience with collections, underwriting / decision engines
· Tableau/ PowerBI or any other visualisation software
· Excel (expert)
· You must be able to use data and be able to transport it into insight, be able to display this data and put it in a dashboard.
· Being able to interpret this data and present this data to stakeholders is essential
- Ability to use data to prove root cause and drive decision making
· You must be able to problem solve and be solution focused
· Have creative skills
· A background in Economics and Statistics (beneficial)
