Data Analyst - Hybrid Role (occasional office visits) - £35,000 - £38,000
Mainly home based but travel to the office in Salisbury (Wiltshire) will be required occasionally - due to the location own transport is essential

Our client provides the support services that enable our Armed Forces to prepare for the modern battlefield by maintaining and delivering safe infrastructure and support services that promote sustainable and effective military training.
Job Specifics:
You will analyse, review and present data and information to highlight trends, identify insights and support business decision making.
What your days will look like:
- Produce and enhance data models, reports and dashboards
- Efficiently handle large sets of data and be able to confidently process them into required formats
- Perform data analysis using Power BI, Excel and other tools (SQL)
- Analyse data to identify trends and patterns to facilitate business insights
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies
- Identify and develop opportunities for more effective data usage in the business
- Train end users on reports and dashboards
- Assist the business to resolve data quality issues
- Prepare monthly performance reports
About you:
- Degree qualified ideally in a business or statistical subject (preferred)
- Knowledge of data analysis techniques and practices gained through a Level 4 Data Analyst Apprenticeship or a willingness to undertake
- Experience of data analytics gained in a similar role is desirable
- Experience of using APIs is desirable
- Experience of working with GIS is desirable
What you can do:
- Advanced Excel skills or willingness to learn
- Advanced Power BI skills or willingness to learn
- Experience of using SQL and/or Python are advantageous.
