EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our Field Metering Team as a Data Analyst. You’ll be based at Raynesway, Derby.
This role is responsible to help support improvement and delivery within the Field Metering Team.
You’ll need to be able to work use different types of data to assess performance levels using analytics and be able to understand the indications that the data is portraying.
Being able to work in a team is an important part of this role.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
We are looking for a candidate who has some excellent communication skills and can work with a range of different people.
You’ll also have some customer service skills, so we are able to provide the best service we can.
To do this role at its best, some experience in producing reports using large amounts of data is needed.
Having an understanding of IT software such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint would make you a great person to fit our role.
Key Accountabilities:
- Monitor and use all relevant performance data of their own and other teams in order to promote and drive continuous improvement in performance
- Source, collect and extract data that is accurate and fit for purpose, working with the business to update and improve how we share this data
- Work as part of a team, where appropriate, on a specific project or day to day continuous improvement ideas
- Report performance data for the Metering Contractors – to ensure we are aligned on SLA and KPI compliance
- Support the Opertaional Performance Team Lead in identifying gaps in available reporting and produce/procure new reporting measures where necessary.
- Gather data and produce reports on the quality of work carried out by our Metering contract partners. Work with the Operational Performance TL and contractor teams to give them the necessary information to drive improvements within current process, reduce errors and drive right-first-time completion rates.
