In this role, you’ll be a critical part of our Financial Crime Compliance Controls, Models & Analytics team currently incubating FC analytics with the Financial Crime CoE team.
You’ll have the ability to leverage your knowledge in Financial Crime analytics to support the development of Financial Crime models and to build a forward-looking operating model for Financial Crime analytics with a focus on transactional monitoring and customer risk assessment, although not exclusively.

- Being at forefront of driving change and innovation in fighting FC with data analytics, including AI and Machine Learning
- Developing the Financial Crime analytics practice and the defining models.
- Providing effective analytical capability to the of business FC Analytic processes, including building and maintaining the modelling effectiveness of the TM, CRA and screening controls.
- Building and maintaining FC controls by applying proven and innovative analytical approaches to insights that can be effectively consumed the risk management stakeholders and enable their decision making.
- Ensuring analytical work is performed and quality controlled.
What you’ll bring.
We are looking for people who can help shape, influence and transform the Bank’s capabilities, ensuring we continue to disrupt Financial crimes, and support and enable the right outcomes for our customers .
- Broad experience in Financial Crime Analytics as a manager across different aspects of financial services / financial markets, and within a global organisation.
- Strong experience of using SQL.
It would also be nice for you to have.
- AI and ML knowledge and preferably hands on experience
- Experience of using Python, SAS and ‘’R’
- In depth FC knowledge including Anti-Money Laundering, Sanctions and Anti-Bribery & Corruption
- Excellent communications skills, including the ability to explain technical terms in non-technical language
What else you need to know.
This is a permanent role which can be based in our offices in Milton Keynes, Bradford, Glasgow or Sheffield.
If successful, you will receive a site-based contract with a hybrid working pattern.
