Job description
Salesfire, a fast-growing ecommerce SaaS business, is seeking a skilled and experienced data analyst to join our team in Middlesbrough, UK. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing performance data from our search and personalisation tools and reporting on trends to better inform our client's strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze performance data from Salesfire's search and personalisation tools and provide insights into trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with our client-facing teams to identify opportunities for optimization and growth.
- Develop reports and dashboards that effectively communicate insights and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Use statistical and analytical techniques to identify patterns and trends in large data sets.
- Conduct research to identify new data sources and analytical techniques that can improve our understanding of client performance and drive new insights.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as statistics, mathematics, computer science, or economics.
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis or a related field, with a strong understanding of statistical analysis and data visualization techniques.
- Experience working with large data sets and proficiency in SQL and Excel.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
- Experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
- Experience in ecommerce or digital marketing is also a plus.
