The post holder will be the lead data specialist within Pathology IT. They will be responsible for all information reporting ensuring that national and local data submission deadlines are met.

The post holder will act as an expert advisor in pathology data and reporting, providing expert advice, guidance and input in a range of activities. They will be responsible for data integrity and data quality to support clinical services. The post holder will be responsible for gathering evidence and completing documentation to support the Pathology UKAS accreditation compliance.

The role will include management of junior Pathology IT staff including grievance and discipline, appraisals, training and development, return to work from sickness absence; management and planning of annual leave ensuring adequate service provision and the collation of annual leave.
