Job description
Positions are available for \warehouse Operatives based in Nelson, working in a fast paced warehouse environment that pick and packs orders to be sent out to our customers.
The role
You will be responsible for ensuring that our customer orders are picked and packed into our reusable green crates as per the order sheet, ready to be loaded onto our fleet of vans, working quickly and efficiently. Using handheld devices, you will scan the order sheets to ensure the correct stock is being picked, whilst at all time adhering our health and safety procedures. You will ensure that the stock on the shelves are rotated in accordance with the on pack dates, and help maintain a clean and tidy warehouse.
What you will need:
- You will be working as part of a team, so being a reliable and great team member is important.
- You will need great communication skills and be enthusiastic with a can-do attitude.
- You will need to be able to work to tight deadlines whilst having a good eye for detail
Full training and appropriate PPE will be provided,
This is a night shift-based role with start times around 7pm, with a finish time dependant on the last van being picked and loaded, working 5 out of 6 nights Sunday to Friday
Pay rate: £11.07 with overtime available
This role is commutable from Nelson, Colne, Barnoldswick, Earby, Burnley and Accrington.
