We have an incredible opportunity to join us here at Phoenix Group as a Data Quality Analyst to join our Products and Data Services team.
Who are we?
We want to be the best place that any of our 6,800 colleagues have ever worked.
We’re the UK’s largest long-term savings and retirement business. We offer our 12 million customers products across our market-leading brands, including Standard Life, SunLife and ReAssure, with c.£259 billion of assets under administration. We’re a FTSE 100 organisation that is tackling key issues such as transitioning our portfolio to net zero by 2050, and we’re not done yet.
The role
We are looking for someone who has strong analytical skills. You will be curious and extremely detail-oriented and have the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. You will have good knowledge of and experience with using SQL and Excel (Vlook Up\Sum If and Pivot Tables as example functions).
Depending on experience full training and support will be provided to help achieve required competency.
What are we looking for?
As a Data Quality Analyst you will have the opportunity to use your analytical skills to conduct bespoke analysis of data held on our core system, ALPHA, ensuring the integrity of data held is accurate, maintained, improved, and appropriate for use.
Working with all areas of the business you will develop your knowledge of the data, completing effective triage analysis. Using SQL to gather the data, you will turn the results into detailed analysis, identifying and conveying any trends found. You will draw conclusions from your analysis and propose solutions to the business to support the cleansing of our data.
We want to hire the whole version of you.
We are committed to ensuring that everyone feels accepted and welcome applicants from all backgrounds. If your experience looks different from what we’ve advertised and you believe that you can bring value to the role, we’d love to hear from you.

This role is in scope of the transformation of our Reassure business by 2026.
Over the next three years, we’ll be moving our customers to a new technology platform. This means that over time, some roles will be in scope for redundancy or redeployment across the group. We’d love for you to join us and gain great experience and we’ll do all we can to mitigate compulsory redundancies. Given that this project will cover a number of years, we’re still looking for talented individuals to join us and will continue to keep all colleagues informed of any direct impacts as we move through this process.
