We are seeking a Data Analytics Student, for our BC Region district, within our Canadian Buildings Division that is available for 4 months starting in September 2023. This position will be under the direct supervisor of the Senior Estimator.
Here's how a Data Analytics Student for our BC Region office contributes to our team:
Responsibilities
- Input raw data and transform information to requested tables, charts and pivot tables
- Perform problem solving capabilities
- Explore new technologies
- Analyze large amounts of data and convey information in a concise manner
- Perform all duties according to prescribed safety procedures
- Gather data and capture the information into databases
- Gather documents from various sources, which may also include extracting information from these materials, capturing data into databases and storing hard copies
Qualifications
- Ability work effectively using Power BI, Excel, Share Point and Pivot tables
- Have a positive attitude, highly motivated and able to work independently
- Possess excellent analytical skills and ability to problem solve
- Attention to detail and calculations
- Have a desire and ability to support customer needs with strong attention to detail
- Strong written and spoken communication skills
- Proven ability to accomplish objectives and work proactively
