The role We're a cloud-only organisation using Azure and the Power platform to centralise all data and create a single source of truth. An entire Microsoft ecosystem at your fingertips, giving you the chance to change and influence what we do. So, you'll see your impact from day one. As part of a newly-formed Data and Analytics team, you'll help drive strategy. That means establishing new practices, procedures and artifacts including Data Architecture and Data Modelling, and developing the strategy to meet changing needs. Everything you do will be relevant to our IT modernisation plans, the wider technology transformation delivery roadmap, Business Information Strategy, and day-to-day technical maintenance work. The person You'll be highly motivated, comfortable challenging conventional thinking, and always looking to introduce smarter ways of working. You'll also define business needs, develop technical requirements, and offer solutions using data-driven insights. You'll share our values of being accountable, open, fair-minded and supportive too. You will have a proven understanding of enterprise applications and business processes, and data management best practices. Beyond this, you'll have experience in data mapping, modelling and structuring, and skills in Cloud based ETL/ ELT technologies, Data Warehousing, Data modelling and ETL Tools, Power BI. You should also be confident in communicating with stakeholders and working with them to understand the impact of and influence future organisational requirements.
