Job Overview
As part of the operations and maintenance team, this role includes, collecting, organising and studying data to provide key insight to PV generation and system optimisation. In this role, you will be required to carry out daily system checks, fault diagnosis and alarm checks, as well as performance reports to be issued to clients, monthly.
Main Duties
- Daily online monitoring system checks and fault diagnosis
- Looking out for unusual trends and drops in solar PV generation.
- Daily alarm checks
- Issuing monthly reports to all key stakeholders
- Regular updates to operational planning tools
- Reviewing of maintenance reports carried out by field engineers
- Answer data queries that clients may have
- Offering online support to field engineers
- Support the operations and maintenance manager with developing the whole maintenance function
- Travelling to and from site throughout the UK
What we are looking for
Essential:
- Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills
- Strong IT background
- Able to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
- Full clean driving license
Desirable:
- An understanding of solar PV systems
- Electrical engineering knowledge
- Be keen to develop and progress within the business
- Be a graduate from any engineering discipline
