WHAT TO EXPECT
To be part of our engineering quality team driving our engineering technical quality agenda for all of Product Engineering throughout vehicle lifecycle. This role will interact with all of Product Engineering supporting transformation projects, external quality issues, internal quality issues and Customer satisfaction. Ultimately, the role will drive activities to deliver Quality targets for Product Engineering.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Develop and deliver new data tool sets to support Product Engineering Quality- Delivery of input, maintenance and reporting of Engineering Quality Scorecard
- Support delivery of Product Engineering Quality which is our forum for initiating change for quality processes and projects improving vehicle quality.
- Support Senior Quality Engineers on resolving engineering issues through data analysis and working with Manufacturing, Centre of Competence, Suppliers, Product Investigation (Service) and Dealers
- Support in delivering our Engineering Quality Transformation Plan
- Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job may be requested
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Essential: ·
- Knowledge of data solutions visualization tools (BigQuery, Data Studio, Tableau for example).
- A background in data science technologies (SQL, Python, Cloud Platform Services, for example).
- Knowledge of data lifecycle from data cleaning to transformation, model building and presentation.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office; including Access, Power Apps, SharePoint, Excel ·
- Strong analytical ability, with a meticulous attention to detail. ·
- Well organised, methodical, exhaustive and structured
- Ability to interface and communicate confidently
- Ability to build and manage multiple internal and external relationships
- Demonstrable business acumen ·
- Naturally pays attention to detail
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills providing the ability to represent the team at meetings
Desirable:
- Understanding and knowledge of Agile methodologies · degree-level qualification or equivalent
