About the role:
As a Data Analyst (internally known as our Network Analytics Manager) at InPost UK, you will play a pivotal role in our mission to simplify and revolutionise the way people in the UK send and receive their parcels. You will be responsible for improving the utilisation and availability of our automated parcel lockers (APMs) through the application of statistical analysis to generate actionable recommendations that ultimately mean more customers are able to use our lockers when, and where they want. You will have strong mathematical acumen and experience with conventional analytical tools and programming languages.
You will be part of a broader, high-performing analytics team, and have the opportunity to work on a range of other challenges as well and to make a significant impact on our growth trajectory while working in a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment. What you’ll be doing:
- Data Analysis: Dive deep into our vast dataset of courier and customer usage data to uncover opportunities to improve efficiency. Utilize statistical techniques and data visualization tools to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies to produce actionable recommendations for implementation or to influence decision-making.
- Predictive Modelling: Build predictive models to forecast future locker usage, allowing us to proactively allocate resources and address potential issues before they arise.
- Performance Metrics: Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) that track the utilization and availability of our parcel lockers. Obsessively monitor these metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop UK subject matter expertise: Seize a unique opportunity to collaborate with InPost Group to absorb industry-leading best practice, assimilate knowledge, and adapt it to the unique context of UK Operations, ultimately building local expertise in the field.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in data analysis and utilization optimization. Proactively and continuously identify opportunities to enhance our data analysis processes.
What we need from you:
Someone who has a “gets it done” attitude, with a high degree of ownership, ability to solve problems in a structured way, rising to challenges in a fast-paced environment with a growth mindset. You will have a strong desire to exceed expectations and continuously push us to be better.
In addition to this;
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Maths, Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics).
- Strong proficiency in data analysis languages such as Python, R, SQL.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, Looker.
- Solid understanding of statistical analysis and predictive modelling techniques.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex findings in a clear and understandable manner.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
- A passion for using data to drive business improvements.
