Job description
We are looking for a skilled Data Analyst to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting, interpreting, and analysing large datasets to uncover trends and insights that drive business decisions. The ideal candidate has a strong background in statistical analysis and experience working with data visualization tools. They should be comfortable working with large data sets and possess a keen attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Collect, analyse, and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights
- Develop and maintain data models, databases, and dashboards to support reporting and analytics
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements, and develop solutions to complex business problems
- Build and maintain data pipelines to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and reliability
- Create and maintain data visualizations, charts, and graphs to communicate insights to stakeholders
- Continuously monitor and evaluate data quality, and ensure that data is properly secured and managed
- Stay up-to-date with new data analysis techniques, tools, and trends to continuously improve data analytics processes
Desired Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or Statistics
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a data analytics or related field
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency with data analysis and visualization tools such as SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI, etc.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or Java
- Ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and insights to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working with large datasets, and understanding of data modelling and database design principles
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
