Department/Program: Performance Analytics
FLSA Status: Exempt
Job Summary:
This position involves the input and management of data in a variety of systems both internal and external.
Duties include:
- Focus on data quality and integrity and work with users to proactively ensure correct entry of information into data sources
- Liaison between operations and Mindshare to ensure increased utilization of data to drive operational performance
- Proactively monitor operational performance and bridge understanding of data analysis with operational performance to drive positive outcomes for our children and families
- Serve as an operational liaison between our Senior Data Analyst and case management staff to interpret data needs and data output
- Maintenance and preparation of existing reports including Excel pivot table charts and slicers in a timely manner.
- Assist with data clean-up activities in various systems
- Analysis of current processes and improvement to existing processes, systems, and reports
- The ideal candidate must possess one of the two spheres of knowledge:
- A deep knowledge of child welfare, the data that supports decision making, and how to obtain that data from various systems.
- In depth knowledge of data modeling tools and techniques
- Additionally, expert knowledge of Excel including pivot tables and charts is required.
Essential Duties:
- Perform review and analysis of FSSNF data, including comparative analytics to assess trends on a macro- and micro-level. 50%
- Answer ad-hoc data requests, as requested, by internal stakeholders to include narrative analysis and recommendations. 15%
- Develop and share expertise in FSSNF data systems including—but not limited to—Qlik, FSFN, Mindshare, etc. 15%
- Maintain and update data sources to ensure data integrity. 10%
- Conduct quality review of Performance Analytics team products and reports. 10%
- Other duties as assigned. As needed
Supervisory/Decision Making Authority:
This position does not require customary supervision and management of at least 2 or more full-time employees.
Two examples of the most common decisions made independently by this position on a regular basis without following prescribed procedures are as follows:
1. Analysis and presentation of System of Care trends and FSSNF performance to bridge operational understanding of strengths and gaps to drive successful child welfare outcomes
2. Proactively working to ensure data integrity to ensure performance output is accurate and reliable
Contribution and Impact:
Ensuring data integrity to thoughtfully analyze system performance to bridge operational understanding and drive successful outcomes for our children and families served in Circuit 6.
Strategic Value:
This position contributes to the business unit’s overall strategy. Quality and timely analysis via FSFN and other database systems ensures system success and recognizes areas for process and program improvement.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Minimum Associates Degree Required
Experience:
Minimum of 1 to 3 years’ experience in data analysis

Ability to:

Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration:
Valid driver’s license.
