Data Analyst
£34,000 to £45,000 + excellent benefits (Work Level 6A)
Manchester city centre (hybrid working)
We’re looking for a Data Analyst to join our Analytics & Insights team in Manchester to help us make the most out of our data to inform decision making across Co-op. Focusing specifically on Co-op Membership, you’ll turn membership data into valuable insights to help us understand how we can continuously improve our offering. In this role you’ll work in a hybrid way – splitting your time between home and the office.
What you’ll do
- Deliver analytics projects from start to finish related to our Co-op Membership offering
- Engage and work closely with key partners to scope the project and design the best solution
- Use a wider variety of advanced analytics techniques using data from different sources
- Understand how each project interacts with the wider business, engaging with the relevant partners across Co-op to share valuable recommendations
This role would suit people who have
- Experience in an analytics environment, with the ability to analyse data from a variety of sources
- Solid experience and knowledge of SQL
- Strong numeracy skills, with a background in maths and statistics (or equivalent)
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills (e.g. VLOOKUPS and pivot tables)
- Good communication skills, with the ability to clearly present often complex information to a non-technical audience
- Good relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate with external partners and colleagues of all levels of seniority
