Physiotherapy Assistant, Rotational, (Band 2),
Full time, 37.5 hours per week
Watford General Hospital.
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Band 2 Physiotherapy rotation as a Physiotherapy assistant in inpatient therapy at West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
This post would be suitable for an individual with a particular interest in assisting patients to become as independent as possible. This role includes supporting the qualified staff to deliver complex treatments to dependent patients and to assist with running of the department including data collection and equipment ordering.
The successful post holder would have a responsibility in participating in the weekend and Bank Holiday seven day working rotas (1:4 – 1:6 weekend working frequency).

Supported by a team of experienced therapy staff, this post offers a potential candidate the ideal opportunity to gain a wealth of experience within the inpatient therapy service. The rotations included are the stroke unit, medical, elderly care, orthopaedics and surgical (including amputees).
