The role:
This role sits within the Market Data Services function, within ICG Operations. Market Data Services is a global function that is responsible for operations (ordering and invoicing), inventory management, business analysis, reporting and strategy for all Market Data expenses.
Role/Position Overview:
The Market Data Ordering Analyst is a global role with responsibility of supporting the Market Data Order Management function, participating in team BAU activities, ensuring process compliance and that functions are accurately and efficiently completed.
Key Responsibilities:
Order Management: including queue management via Optimize Spend system to meet Service Level Agreements (SLA)
Work with vendors, Market Data stakeholders and Business Advisors to fulfil user requirements
Risk mitigation by continually reviewing current processes & partaking in regular vendor reconciliations
Management and support of queries and initiatives from Market Data Stakeholders, Vendors and Business Advisors
Drive and partner on Market Data Projects and contribute to the overall Market Data tasks and deliverables
Provide Support to Management on queries and on-going initiatives
Knowledge and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Previous experience working within the financial sector, with Market Data knowledge preferred
Collaborative team player with strong influencing skills
Previous experience of our Market Data system ‘Optimize Spend’ (Formerly FITS) beneficial
Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with tight timeframes
Competencies
Strong IT Skills, particularly Excel and Outlook
Strong analytical skills, detail oriented and excellent communication skills
Proactive and confident under pressure with a strong desire to succeed
Ability to multi-task, meet tight deadlines
Customer service orientation and leadership/influencing skill

The successful candidate has the opportunity to expand their Market Data knowledge base, gain deeper product knowledge from an Investment Banking perspective and will be provided with the opportunity to interact with areas of the firm outside Expense Management. The role will provide exposure to many aspects of Market Data, across a wide range of Market Data vendors.
