We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced data analyst to join our team and be responsible for data management within CIMSPA.
The ideal candidate will support the IT Systems Manager with the day-to-day running of CIMSPA’s IT operations. They will be responsible for the accuracy and integrity of data and must ensure that data is stored securely and efficiently. The data analyst will be able to develop and implement data management strategies, policies, and procedures and ensure that data is accessible and can be used to provide insights. They will be working closely with other departments, supporting teams to make better data-informed decisions and lead data elements of projects.
The successful candidate will support the operations of CIMSPA data management, ensuring that data is appropriately used and stored in accordance with the organisation's privacy and security policies.

This role offers flexible hybrid working, enabling our colleagues to divide their time between our head office in Loughborough and working from home. Specific details/flexible working options can be discussed as part of the interview process. Key tasks include but are not limited to:
- Formulate management techniques for quality data collection to ensure the adequacy, accuracy and legitimacy of data.
- Creating and enforcing policies for effective data management.
- Devise and implement efficient and secure procedures for data management and analysis with attention to all technical aspects.
- Identify, analyse and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
- Monitor and analyse information and data systems, evaluating their performance to discover ways of enhancing them (new technologies, upgrades etc.).
- Daily use of Dynamics 365 and Power BI for part of the system role.
- Troubleshoot data-related problems and authorise maintenance or modifications in systems such as Dynamics 365.
- Ensure digital databases and archives are protected from security breaches and data losses.

Salary: £34,000 - £40,000 per annum
