Chemours is seeking a Data Analyst to join our growing HR Operations team! This position will report directly to the Director of Human Resource Operations and can be based remote.
The Chemours HR Operations team is looking for someone to advance our data capability to provide insightful analytics and tools to drive outcomes across Chemours. The ideal candidate is adept at using large data sets to find opportunities for people and process optimization and using models to test the effectiveness of different courses of action. They must have experience using a variety of data mining/data analysis methods, and tools. The candidate will use a variety of data tools, building and implementing models, using/creating algorithms, and creating/running simulations. They must have a proven ability to drive business results with their data-based insights. They must be comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders and functional teams. The right candidate will have a passion for discovering solutions and working with stakeholders to improve outcomes and be able to tell the story and maybe even predict the ending.
The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Work with stakeholders throughout the HR and leadership organization to identify opportunities for leveraging people data to drive solutions.
  • Mine and analyze data from Workday and Kronos to drive optimization, improvements, and delivery on people strategies.
  • Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.
  • Understand and drive the use of next generation technologies.
  • Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize business goals.
In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Data visualization capability of large data to make it understandable, useable, and drillable.
  • Experience working with and creating data architectures.
  • Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests, and proper usage, etc.) and experience with applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams.
  • A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.
The following is preferred for this role:
  • Familiar with one or more of the following software/tools:
  • Alteryx
  • Tableau
  • Microsoft Access
  • Power BI
  • Prism
  • Discovery boards
  • Experience using statistical computer languages (R, Python, SLQ, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.
  • Basic understanding of advanced machine learning algorithms and statistics: regression, simulation, scenario analysis, modeling, clustering, decision trees, neural networks, etc.
  • Understanding of distributed data/computing tools
  • Experience visualizing/presenting data for stakeholders using: Power BI, Periscope, Business Objects, D3, ggplot, etc.
  • Partners with HR and business to enhance.
