Job description
Centrepoint, the UK’s leading youth homelessness charity, is looking for a Data Analyst to join our Data, Insight and Performance team in London which supports the organisation by analysing data, creating dashboards, managing KPIs and responding to data requests.
This is a permanent, full-time (37.5 hours per week) contract opportunity with a closing date of Monday 27th March.
We help vulnerable young people by giving them the practical and emotional support they need to find a job and live independently. Centrepoint provides homeless young people with accommodation, health support and life skills in order to get them back into education, training and employment. We want to end youth homelessness by 2037.
Together with our partners, we support over 14,000 young people each year.
About you
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Degree level qualification or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in data analysis and business intelligence tools such as Power BI.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Committed to self-development by engaging with training and continuous learning.
- Proactive, always looking for opportunities to generate insight for the organisation
What you’ll be doing
- Developing Power BI dashboards, to communicate meaningful insights, with impactful visualisation.
- Analysing data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can help inform business decisions.
- Responding promptly to data request from support our services, business development, fundraising, policy and communications teams to evidence Centrepoint’s value and support new bids and campaigns.
- Conveying technical information in a way that is accessible to a wider audience.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to identify business problems and develop solutions.
- Providing recommendations to management based on data analysis and interpretation.
- Monitoring data quality and ensuring data integrity across multiple systems and sources.
- Staying up-to-date with emerging trends in data analysis, statistics, and technology.
- Automating manual tasks to improve efficiency.
