Job description
THE ROLE:
As a Data Analyst, you will work closely with our development, data and business teams to support the collection, analysis and reporting / visualization of data to drive business decisions. You will be responsible for extracting, analysing and interpreting large datasets, identifying trends and patterns, and communicating your findings to key stakeholders. To fulfil this role, key software includes PowerBI, Google Analytics, Data Studio, Atypon Insights, Google Tag Manger and Firebase.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Collect and analyse large datasets using statistical and data visualization tools
- Identify trends and patterns in data and develop insights to support and drive business decisions
- Communicate findings to key stakeholders through presentations, dashboards and reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for data-driven improvements, Proof of Concepts, and innovative uses of data
- Continuously monitor data quality and ensure accuracy of data reporting to ensure trust and confidence.
- Ensure the integrity of CABI’s Google Analytics data
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new technologies to enhance data analysis capabilities so we are ready to field of data and visualization
- Product ownership of the CABI Analytics Platform,an internal BI Reporting delivery system for, and take the service to the next level.

You are a people person with an analytical mind and a passion for working with data from many sources. You enjoy analysing and interpreting complex data sets, creating reports and visualizations to communicate findings and supporting decision-making. You have a genuine interest in data visualization and innovation in this fast moving space and are driven to continually improve your knowledge. You have a creative, problem solving outlook and the ability to explain complex data and analysis with staff at all levels.
