Eagle Integrated Services, LLC. (EIS) is seeking a Clinical Data Analyst
Mandatory Qualifications
- The contractor employee shall possess a Master's degree in a relevant field (Health Informatics, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Data Science).
- The contractor employee shall have 2+ years of demonstrated experience in a professional work environment in the fields of health informatics, biostatistics, and/or data analytics with a focus on clinical data.
- Contractor employees requiring access to USAF bases, AFRL facilities, and/or access to U.S. Government Information Technology (IT) networks in connection with the work on this contract must be U.S. citizens.
- The contractor employee shall have an extensive background in biological data analysis, with a specific focus in clinical datasets.
- The contractor employee shall have demonstrated experience with data visualization tools (i.e. Tableau) and techniques to develop and deliver impactful data models and data visualizations.
- The contractor employee shall have demonstrated experience with querying or analyzing data to answer questions and solve problems and familiarity with different databases, with required experience in REDCap (Research Electronic Data Capture).
- The contractor employee shall exhibit proficiency in data analysis and statistical software including SigmaPlot (Systat), R, Python, SAS, Matlab, SQL, and other relevant programming environments.
- The contractor employee shall have experience with statistics and statistical analysis of data, machine learning algorithms, and general algorithm development.
- The contractor employee shall have strong analytical skills with the ability to work with a variety of large and complex datasets including (but not limited to) basic research datasets and clinical data.
- The contractor employee shall have experience working with electronic medical records.
- The contractor employee shall have a minimum of one first author manuscript in a peer- reviewed journal on a study directly analyzing statistical differences in clinical variables.
- The contractor employee shall possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- The contractor employee shall possess strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- The contractor employee shall possess proficiency with Microsoft software programs.
- The contractor employee shall have a signed Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) in place with their company based on the potential access to confidential, proprietary, and/or sensitive information. NDA shall be provided to the Government Program Manager by start of performance.
- Data Collection and Cleaning: Gather and extract clinical data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and integrity. Clean, transform, and normalize data for analysis purposes.
- Data Analysis and Interpretation:
- Utilize statistical techniques and data mining methodologies to analyze complex clinical datasets. Identify trends, patterns, and correlations within the data to derive meaningful insights and actionable recommendations.
- Write scripts to integrate data, conduct exploratory data analysis to discover hidden trends, apply machine learning to train predictive models, and use the right combination of tools and frameworks to turn complex sets of disparate data points into objective answers that inform decisions.
- Utilize statistical analysis, unsupervised machine learning, supervised machine learning, and deep learning as needed.
- Biostatistical Research Support: Collaborate with researchers and clinicians to provide analytical support for clinical studies and research projects. Assist in study design, sample size estimation, data collection methods, and statistical analysis plans. Data Visualization and Reporting: Create clear and concise visualizations, reports, and dashboards to communicate data-driven insights to investigators. Present findings in a compelling manner, tailored to the target audience. Generate publication quality graphs and write associated manuscript sections to describe methodology and results in detail for inclusion in scientific publications. Clearly and effectively communicate results in writing and in oral presentations.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the accuracy and reliability of clinical data by conducting quality assurance checks and implementing data validation procedures. Identify and resolve data discrepancies or anomalies.
- Compliance and Data Privacy: Adhere to regulatory requirements and maintain strict confidentiality of patient health information (PHI) in accordance with privacy laws and ethical guidelines such as HIPAA.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends, advancements in data analytics methodologies, and emerging technologies. Explore opportunities to enhance data collection, analysis, and reporting processes. Review scientific publications and literature to validate theories and models.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams (including university and USAF personnel) to design and execute technical studies across a variety of domains. Work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
