Job description
We are currently recruiting a Systems & Master Data Analyst to join our growing accounting team. Reporting to the Lead -Accounts Payable & Treasury, the successful candidate brings expertise in Qbyte Master Data, including setting up and maintaining Business Associates, Cost Centers and associated DOI’s, AFE’s, Allocations, Ownership Master, and Chart of Accounts. This role will require a strong attention to detail and a passion for improving and implementing process efficiencies.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Work with internal partners with regards to master data quality assurance and establishing best practice and processes.
- Manage and administer the workflows for Aucerna Execute (AFE Navigator) and OpenInvoice.
- Have knowledge of JV and Land agreements to be able to interpret ownership updates and facilitate required changes.
- General accounting duties such as account reconciliations and journal entries.
- Provide accounting and systems support to field operations and respond to queries.
- Ad-Hoc reporting, process improvements, and assigned projects, as required.
- Minimum of 5 years of applicable work experience.
- Post-secondary education in Finance or Accounting is considered as asset. Equivalencies of experience and education will be considered.
- Experience with Qbyte FM and AFE Navigator is required.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with OpenInvoice, and EnergyLink is preferred.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage various deadlines and deliverables.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to meet goals and deadlines.
- Exceptional communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Must be legally able to work in Canada.
