What is a Data Analyst?
A Data Analyst main role is to find a way of using data to answer questions or solve problems. Data analysis is a process of requirement-gathering, inspecting, cleansing, transforming and modelling data with the goal of discovering useful information, informing conclusions and supporting decision-making.
What does a Data Analyst Apprenticeship involve?
As a Data analyst at Anglian Water you will be an integral part of the Digital Development Team Agile Project Team where you can develop innovative solutions to complex problems. You will support the development of bespoke apps which will make the company more efficient and drive innovation. Throughout the Apprenticeship you will increase your personal knowledge in a range of areas and understand the buisness and how we work with our partners. You will do this by analysing data and buisness practices and provide insights to your stakeholders. You will do this by analysing data and buisness practices and provide insights to your manager and teams.
As well as working at our offices you will also study at West Anglian College in Wisbech, you will be required attend here once a week on day release throughout the 24 month course.
To be successful as an Anglian Water Apprentice you will require:
GCSE grade 4 or above in English and Maths
Analytical Skills
Attention to Detail
Self-Motivated
Able to work in a team
