Candidates will be exceptionally detail-oriented, well-organised, self-motivated, and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to meet stringent deadlines.
The HR data analyst apprentice will work towards developing and improving quality control procedures with our Senior HR Analyst, reviewing existing processes and suggesting new approaches and practices - ensuring that our published data is always accurate.
You will be directly mentored by an experienced Senior HR Analyst along with support from our HR Systems Manager.
Key accountabilities
- Perform database clean-ups to improve data quality including assisting with delivery of bulk changes to data sets
- Support the rationalisation of key HR data to ensure only relevant information is contained within our HR systems
- Support Senior HR Analyst in creating simple checks to help data integrity processes for HR Services Manager and Payroll Manager
- Understand the number of data fields compared with previous years to understand how we are growing and maintaining our data
- Review and test current and new processes to ensure data requirements are captured and maintained accurately
Reporting
- Create and maintain processing and quality control manual
- Assist the Senior HR Analyst with the provision of regular HR reports to leadership teams and HR in Business according to established timetables
- Present HR data in a way that gives clarity and informs business decisions
- Support business needs by explaining trends and highlighting divergencies
Skills & experience
- An enthusiastic and self-motivated individual
- Ability to work both alone and as part of a team
- Computer literate with a sound working knowledge of the latest Microsoft packages.
- Excellent organisational skills and a methodical manner of working through tasks
- Proactive approach to problem solving
- Ability to prioritise own workload and meet deadlines
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail, along with high levels of accuracy
